What to Hunt, What to Fish, and Where to enjoy the outdoors:
Kansas Game, Fish, and Parks information is available at the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks website. They have loads of information about our state and the abundant game and fish that reside here. If you know of a site that has great information that you think might be beneficial to our membership please send us a link to webmaster@kansasoutdoorsmenforchrist.org and we'll be glad to consider it for our forthcoming links page!
KOFC Archery Range:
The archery range is now open for all members to utilize at Community Christian Church just east of Barton County Community College.
We have 3 foam box targets for field points and broadheads set at 10, 20 and 30 yards. 1 3D buck set in the open at approximately 23 yards and 1 3D buck in the bushes at approximately 33 yards.
The rules for the archery range are as follows:
1) Always have your membership card on your person while utilizing any KOFC land or facilities.
2) Do not use 3D bucks for sighting in your bow.
3) Do not use broadheads on 3D bucks.
4) When possible, utilize the archery range for evangelistic purposes. Let's try to maintain the focus of the ministry when utilizing any KOFC land or facilities!
5) And, as always, respect other members and guests and have fun!
6) Help us maintain a great relationship with everyone at Community Christian Church by respecting the grounds. Park in the parking lot and walk to the range. During the mowing season please replace the targets to "safe" location for the mowers to work around without having to relocate each time.
You will notice, at the southwest corner of the property, a small tree marked with an orange ribbon (I think the ribbon is gone now but use your imagination and be safe when shooting). This marks the shooting line. The targets are strait east of this line with a thick shrub backdrop. Have fun, be safe and God bless!
