With hunting seasons here there's a good chance that if you have time to go hunting others in the group do too and would love to join. Check with those of us on FaceBook, email us, or give us a call and we'll assist in getting members or others together even if one of us leaders can't go with you.
Blessing of the Hunt and Wild Game Dinner:
Friday night (November 13th) we will gather for a “Blessing of the Hunt” and wild game dinner at the First Presbyterian Church, 24th and Washington St. in Great Bend. Dinner begins at 6:00 P.M. followed by a time of prayer for “Safety”, “Success”, and a “Humane Harvest”. Bring a wild game dish to pass (salad or side-dish if you do not have game to share), your own silverware and plates, and friends. We also invite hunters who are coming into town for the opening of pheasant and quail season.
This is a great opportunity to invite someone who needs Christ as their Lord and Savior and any who might be interested in becoming members of KOFC.
We would also like to assist in organizing a couple groups to enjoy the opener of Pheasant/Quail Hunting on Saturday morning while together that evening so come to find out more and join a group for opening morning.

Our KOFC Great Bend 2nd Annual Clay Shoot was a huge BLAST. I think we shot over 10 cases of clays and had a very good turnout. If you were not there you missed a lot of fun and also some awesome Wild Hog Brats! Click here for links to photos!
Ohio Deer Hunt Raffle to be extended due to lack of ticket sales and the funds needed for this not to cost the organization rather than benefit the organization. New information will be up here soon but the basics are: Late November/Early December 2010 Shotgun or Muzzleloader Guided Trophy Whitetail Hunt in Ohio! Full details returning here soon with all revisions finalized and not to be changed again.Contact us for more info!

Pratt Chapter Formed!
Pratt Informational Meeting was held in April and there now is two chapters of KOFC (Great Bend and Pratt) -- To Contact Pratt Officiers email here or see Contact Us page.
For Pratt Chapter events please contact Pratt Officiers. They are currently also attending a Clay Shoot on Thursday evenings together in Pratt, join them for a fun evening!
More events will be comming here soon for 2009. So watch the site! (The other night the Activities Director was discussing some of the events in plans right now. Sounds like one every month so keep checking!)

ATTENTION: We're always open to event ideas, do you have one? Much of what you see we have done is related to Shooting Sports, Hunting, or Fishing, but there's so much more for Outdoorsmen also so let's have them! Some other ideas tossed around are Bicycling, Coyote Hunting, Hiking, Camping, etc. so tell us what interest you, use the Guestbook!

As always there's a number of us that love to go hunting, fishing, or anything outdoors with friends, old and new alike, so if you're wanting to go out as a group, large or small, anytime we can get away from work or other duties we're always ready to join you.
